Job Title: HR Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Director
Location: [ahemdabad”]
Job Type: [Full-Time]

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the daily functions of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of administrative tasks and help ensure the smooth operation of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department

  • Maintain and update employee records (hard and digital copies)

  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

  • Help with the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

  • Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports

  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping data

  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Previous administrative or HR experience preferred

  • Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Discretion with sensitive and confidential information

Preferred:

  • Experience in a similar HR support role

  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus
