📌 Job Title: Senior Nurse / In-Charge Nurse

📍 Location: Thane / Pune

🎓 Education: ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing

📱 Basic Computer Knowledge Required

🧑‍⚕️ Experience: Minimum 1 year in ICU or as a Staff Nurse

👥 Team Handling Experience (20–30 PCAs)

Job Responsibilities:

📋 Patient Management:

Admit new patients and manage discharge process

Daily patient check-ups and vitals monitoring (TPR, BP)

Emergency response: Coordinate with family, doctors; manage deteriorations or death certificate formalities

Weekly updates to clients regarding patient condition and activities

Monitor logbook for updates, entries, medicine records, and sign off

💊 Medication Oversight:

Ensure timely and accurate medication administration

Check for medicine errors during rounds

Review medicine sheets including SOS and temporary medications

Update medicine changes in logbooks

Cross-verify medicine stock with logs and prepare monthly purchase lists

Perform regular medicine audits.

🩺 Nursing Procedures:

Assist doctors during rounds and assessments

Conduct and document procedures:

Bladder wash

Wound dressing & new bedsore identification

RT/ Catheter changes

IV / IM administration

Ensure sterile practices: Autoclaving gauze, sterilizing equipment weekly

Refill and maintain First Aid kits.

👥 Team & Training:

Allocate patients among caregivers

Manage ROTA schedules efficiently (especially during staff shortages)

Conduct regular training for nursing procedures, hygiene, and grooming

Audit hygiene, caregiving quality, surgical stock, and diapers in real-time

Ensure adherence to care goals and proper documentation

Coordinate with hospitals, therapists, and consultants as required

Help prepare and issue death certificates when necessary

📝 Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of patient activities and interventions

Update medicine and consultant rosters

Submit monthly reports and evaluations

Report maintenance needs for nursing equipment and tools
