We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, supporting families, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Provide direct nursing care to neonates in NICU under physician supervision.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and IVs.
Perform neonatal assessments and respond promptly to any signs of distress.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate and support families regarding the condition and care of their newborn.
Maintain strict infection control and hygiene standards.
Participate in emergency interventions such as resuscitation.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of NICU equipment.
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and standards of care.
GNM/B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Current registration with the Nursing Council.
2–3 years of experience working in a Level II or III NICU.
Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
Strong knowledge of neonatal nursing protocols and equipment.
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Emotional resilience and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
