Job Overview: The Marketing/Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling
construction chemical products and creating marketing solutions to various projects with existing
and potential clients. This role requires a strong technical background in construction chemicals
combined with sales and marketing expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record
in the construction chemicals industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop
and implement effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market
share in the construction chemicals sector. Identify and pursue new business
opportunities and markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish new
connections. Understand client needs, provide technical advice, and present tailored
solutions.
Utilize deep knowledge of construction chemical products, applications, and industry
trends to educate clients and effectively position our solutions.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive
landscape. Analyze data to inform marketing and sales strategies.
Provide technical support and expertise to clients throughout the sales process, including
product demonstrations, technical presentations, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns,
product literature, and digital marketing strategies specific to the construction chemicals
industry.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and services.
Address any post-sale issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends. Provide
regular updates to management on sales activities and outcomes.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Build and
leverage professional networks to enhance business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, Civil,
Ceramic) or a related field. Additional qualifications in marketing or business
administration are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the construction chemical
or a related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of construction chemical materials, their applications, and industry
standards. Ability to translate technical information into compelling sales pitches.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies, managing client
relationships, and closing deals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present
and negotiate with clients.
Proficiency in English language.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and
trends.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-
paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
marketing, and customer service.
Willingness to travel extensively.
