VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up VMC machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and programs

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CNC programs

• Operate VMC machines to produce precision parts

• Measure and inspect components using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.)

• Make necessary adjustments to achieve dimensional accuracy

• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow maintenance schedules

• Adhere to safety and quality standards in machining operations

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma or relevant qualification in machining

• Proven experience operating VMC machines

• Knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi)

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Good understanding of tooling, cutting parameters, and basic troubleshooting
