Desired Candidate Profile:

1.  Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of tool and die design, CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and precision measurement techniques.

2. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze failures and implement corrective actions effectively.

3. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective coordination with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.

3. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to ensure accuracy in design specifications and manufacturing processes.

5. Vendor Management: Experience in vendor development and material procurement based on technical drawings.

6. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in maintaining tools and dies, diagnosing defects, and ensuring optimal performance.

 Key responsibilities:

1.  Apply engineering principles and manufacturing processes to design tools and dies as per project requirements.

2. Manage casting and machining dies efficiently.

3. Handle various types of dies, including regressive, blanking, slotting, flaring, embossing, bending, piercing, cutting, and punching dies.

4. Utilize CAD/CAM software for designing and programming CNC machines for tool and die fabrication.

5. Ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders for smooth workflow, efficient production, and proper documentation.

6. Conduct die and tool failure analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

7. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel to optimize tool and die designs and resolve production challenges.

8. Troubleshoot and rectify defects or inconsistencies found during the inspection process.

9. Perform routine maintenance on tools and dies to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

10. Use precision measuring tools to verify that all dimensions and tolerances meet required specifications.

11. Oversee vendor development and ensure material procurement as per technical drawings.
