Opening For Purchase Manager Position

Designation: Purchase Executive/ Manager

Role: Purchase/ Procurement Management (Sourcing/ Buying/ Negotiation/ Coordination)

Industry: Manufacturing

• Location: Kandivali, Mumbai- Corporate Head Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Buying: Plan and carry out Sourcing, Buying Strategies for Raw Materials, Packaging, Consumables, and services to support production and daily operations.

Vendor Management: Build and maintain a reliable list of Suppliers. Evaluate them based on Quality, Price, Delivery time, and compliance.

Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate Prices, Payment terms, and Delivery schedules to save costs and ensure steady Supply.

Order Management: Create and follow up on Purchase Orders. Make sure materials arrive on time as per the production schedule.

Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the Inventory and stores teams to manage Stock levels and avoid running out or overstocking.

Quality & Compliance: Make sure all purchased items meet Quality standards and all documents meet company and legal requirements.

Market Awareness: Keep an eye on market trends, Prices, and Supplier changes to find cost-saving opportunities and avoid risks.

Reporting & Analysis: Keep records of Purchases, Prepare reports, and provide insights on Buying performance, Supplier ratings, and Savings.

Skills & Qualification Required:

• An Graduate Or MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience in Buying or Sourcing, preferably in a Manufacturing or Industrial

• Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar)

• Strong understanding of buying processes and negotiation methods

• Excellent communication, coordination, and supplier relationship skills
