About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager with a background in Mechanical Engineering to manage and streamline the production and supply chain processes of our home appliance product line—including sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, car vacuums, and soup makers. This role is crucial in ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, meet quality standards, and are readily available for our e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the end-to-end production of home appliance products.

• Coordinate with external manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely production and deliveries.

• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to technical and mechanical standards.

• Manage production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to products or production.

• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.

• Analyse production costs and implement strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

• Maintain and analyse production reports and inventory status.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

• Provide technical input for new product development or improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.).

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or operations role, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and technical specifications.

• Experience with e-commerce operations and supply chain coordination.

• Proficiency in using ERP and inventory management systems.

• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

• Exposure to assembly line management or OEM coordination.

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
