Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to operate and maintain robot-based press machines. The ideal candidate should be able to handle automatic or semi-automatic machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate robotic and mechanical press machines as per SOP.

• Load raw materials into machines and monitor operations.

• Handle robotic arms for loading/unloading of components.

• Ensure machine setup and calibration before production.

• Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.

• Monitor output to identify production issues or defects.

• Maintain records of production logs, downtime, and materials used.

• Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

• Report any breakdowns or unusual machine behavior to the supervisor.

• Follow 5S, Kaizen, and other plant policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 10th, 12th/ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Production or relevant trade.

• Basic knowledge of robot-based machine operations (preferably Fanuc, ABB, or similar).

• Familiarity with press machine operation and safety protocols.

• Understanding of quality checking tools like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, etc.

• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required.

• Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
