Heavy Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts from sheet metal or other materials.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.

• Adjust machine settings such as speed, power, and laser path to optimize cutting performance.

• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications.

• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and take corrective action as needed.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure peak performance.

• Keep accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine logs.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
