LEGAL OFFICER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job description

Preferred male candidates only.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts like MoUs, LOIs, Lease Deeds/ATL/LLA, maintenance contracts, fit-out agreements, service agreements, business conducting agreements etc.

·         Provide clarification regarding title/ownership of the properties.

·         Coordination with internal/external stakeholders including tenant’s/law firms/auditors.

·         Ensure documentation of existing and ongoing retail leasing transactions.

·         Ensure registration of all applicable agreements with respect to retail and commercial transactions.

·         Support legal team on general corporate legal matters.

·         Reviewing legal queries raised by various stakeholders and preparing responses. Coordinating with external counsel where necessary for preparing the responses.

·         Track reporting requirements under all long-term contracts executed by Aparna Group and its assets.

·         Legal research on relevant areas.

·         Compliance reporting.

·         MIS.

·         Good understanding of litigation/coordination with external lawyers.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

·         Law Graduate / Post Graduate

·         6 plus years of relevant experience with at least 2-3 years of a reputed Law firm / commercial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

·         Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills and experience in people management.

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

·         Proficiency in MS Office and other reporting tools.

·         Eye for details and think out of the box.

·         Proactive and team player.
