Advocate

We are looking for a Advocate to join our team at India Ecom Courier Express to manage legal documentation, contract reviews and compliance matters. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹12000 - ₹20000 along with professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and briefs.

• Offer legal advice on a range of issues including contracts, property, civil rights, corporate matters, and criminal defense.

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles.

• Interview clients and witnesses to gather information and build cases.

• Prepare evidence, exhibits, and legal arguments to support case strategy.

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediation or out-of-court proceedings.

• Keep up to date with changes in legislation and legal procedures.

• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and conduct standards.

• Collaborate with paralegals, fellow attorneys, and other professionals as needed.

• Draft and review contracts, agreements and company policies

• Ensure legal compliance with local and national laws

• Maintain legal records and files for internal reference

• Coordinate with legal counsel and external authorities

• Assist in case follow-ups and court documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent); Master’s degree (LL.M) is a plus.

• Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Proven experience as a practicing advocate or legal associate.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 3 years of experience. Strong understanding of legal terms, communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
