Office Boy

Job Summary

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment, handle light errands, and deliver documents/packages using a two-wheeler. Ensure timely, accurate, and courteous services to staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Cleaning & Maintenance

• Dust furniture, shelves,

• Dispose of trash and recyclables.

• Assist with basic upkeep: minor maintenance, arranging furniture, keeping areas tidy .

2. Packing & Document Handling

• Label, prepare, and pack items for internal dispatch or outgoing .

• Assist with printing, enveloping, franking, and organizing dispatch records jobs.undp.org.

3. Two-Wheeler Messenger Duties

• Collect and deliver documents, parcels, and packages to offices, banks, clients, etc. .

• Ensure safe transport via two-wheeler; plan efficient routes  workstream.us.

• Maintain records of deliveries, obtain necessary signatures, and report any undelivered items

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High school (10th pass) or equivalent.

• Valid two-wheeler license with clean driving record .

• Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, packing, or courier .

• Knowledge of local roads, ability to plan routes efficiently .

• Physically fit—able to lift/carry packages and stand/ride for extended periods .

• Attention to detail, honesty, punctuality, and reliability.

• Good communication skills and courteous .

Working Conditions

• Full-time position; may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends as needed.

• Splits time between indoor office and outdoor delivery tasks.

• May work in varied weather; basic protective gear expected.

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to ~20 kg for packing and transporting.

• Riding two-wheeler for deliveries; manoeuvring through urban traffic.

• Extensive standing, walking, bending, and dusting activities.
