• Run the Show:

  • Start up/shut down pumps, blowers, agitators, membranes, UV reactors, filter presses, etc.

  • Monitor gauges, SCADA screens & control panels—adjust valves and dosing pumps in real time.

• Quality Check:

  • Grab routine samples (influent, effluent, sludge) and do basic phys-chem tests (pH, TSS, COD, chlorine).

  • Log readings in the system and alert QA if anything’s off.

• Preventive Vibes:

  • Perform daily walk-arounds: check for leaks, weird noises, clogs, chemical spill risks.

  • Crew up with maintenance to swap seals, clean screens, tighten fittings—stop downtime before it even starts.

• Chem-Hustle:

  • Prep and feed coagulants, flocculants, dechlorinators per dosing schedules.

  • Track chemical levels, flag re-orders, and keep SDS handy for safety.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow SOPs, lock-out/tag-out for safe maintenance.

  • Keep PPE game strong—hard-hat, gloves, goggles, boots, etc.

  • Ensure plant operations meet environmental regs and discharge standards.

• Data & Reporting:

  • Update daily logs: shift handovers, incidents, maintenance tickets.

  • Help prep weekly performance reports (flow rates, removal efficiencies, power usage).
