Technical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support the preparation and supervision of the technical sections of tender submissions, oversee procurement processes, and monitor supply chain operations. The candidate will ensure technical compliance with tender requirements, coordinate vendor sourcing, and streamline materials management for timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tender Technical Documentation

• Review and interpret tender documents and technical specifications.

• Prepare and compile the technical sections of tender bids, including product specifications, datasheets, compliance statements, and certifications.

• Coordinate with the R&D or engineering team to collect accurate technical inputs.

• Ensure that technical documentation aligns with client and tender authority requirements.

2. Technical Supervision & Coordination

• Assist in planning and supervising technical execution of product configurations as per client requirements.

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness of technical deliverables before tender submission.

• Respond to pre-bid queries and ensure technical compliance during evaluations.

3. Purchase & Procurement

• Coordinate procurement of raw materials, components, and technical items required for manufacturing and project execution.

• Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery timelines.

• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation.

4. Supply Chain & Inventory Monitoring

• Track inventory levels of critical components and manage restocking based on production and deployment schedules.

• Monitor supplier deliveries and coordinate logistics to ensure on-time material availability.

• Work closely with the operations and warehouse team to maintain a smooth supply chain process.
