Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Server Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with physical and virtual servers along with enterprise operating systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and security across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows environment).

·         Monitor server performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.

·         Manage patching, updates, and system hardening for compliance and security.

·         Work with storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

·         Collaborate with network and application teams to ensure seamless business operations.

·         Maintain detailed documentation of server infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

·         Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts or system tools.

·         Participate in on-call rotations and provide 2nd/3rd level escalation support.

·         Plan and execute system upgrades and server migrations with minimal downtime.

Requirements:

·         4–6 years of proven experience as a Server/System Engineer or similar role.

·         Strong proficiency in managing Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.

·         Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).

·         Hands-on with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

·         Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers).

·         Experience with system monitoring tools.

·         Knowledge of remote access solutions (e.g., RAS Server).
