We are looking for a skilled IT Expert with a strong background in supporting and maintaining IT systems in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of plant IT infrastructure, production support systems (ERP, SCADA, MES), and day-to-day IT operations. The role requires hands-on experience in managing networks, hardware, industrial software, and resolving IT issues that impact production efficiency.
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot plant-level IT systems including servers, industrial PCs, networking equipment, and peripherals.
Support and administer manufacturing software systems such as ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), SCADA, and PLC-integrated platforms.
Maintain IT infrastructure across Company floors, Store area, and office areas (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls).
Provide timely IT support to production teams, engineers, and administrative staff.
Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and maintain data integrity across systems.
Assist with the installation and rollout of new hardware and software in the plant.
Document IT assets, procedures, and user manuals specific to manufacturing equipment and processes.
Collaborate with automation and maintenance teams for system integration and uptime optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of factory automation systems, industrial networks, and protocols.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tally, etc.) used in manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in Windows/Linux operating systems and network management.
Solid understanding of IT security and data protection in industrial settings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially under time-sensitive situations.
Good communication skills to coordinate with plant staff and vendors.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Exposure to SCADA, MES, PLC/HMI systems.
Certifications: CompTIA, Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or similar.
Familiarity with TPM, ISO, or Lean Manufacturing standards and how IT supports them.
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
