Job Title: System Administrator

Core Responsibilities:

1. Server Management

• Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux).

• Monitor server performance and system health.

• Manage backups and disaster recovery plans.

2. Network Administration

• Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.

• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

3. User & Access Management

• Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).

• Ensure proper access control policies are enforced.

• Reset passwords and resolve login issues.

4. Security & Compliance

• Apply patches, updates, and security configurations.

• Monitor systems for security breaches and malware.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.

5. Software & Application Support

• Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications.

• Manage licensing and inventory of software tools.

• Coordinate with vendors for software support when required.

6. Hardware Management

• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

• Monitor and replace failing hardware components.

• Maintain inventory of IT assets.

7. Backup & Recovery

• Schedule regular backups of systems and data.

• Test and verify backup procedures.

• Ensure quick recovery from system failures or data loss.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.

• Generate system performance and security reports as needed.

9. Technical Support

• Provide Level 1 & 2 support to end users.

• Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.

• Maintain a helpdesk ticketing system and respond promptly.

10. Virtualization & Cloud (if applicable)

• Manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Administer cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as per organizational needs.

• Key Skills:

• Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS

• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

• Networking concepts and tools

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving

• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus

• Cloud platforms & virtualization

• • Advanced knowledge of and hands-on experience with technical aspects of Switching, network cabling and Windows Servers.

• • Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of IT and functional systems for the organization, including software applications, network, phone systems and end-user computers.

• • Server Management, Individual PC and Laptop Management, Network and Security Management.

• • Manage communications and working relationships between IT and other departments within the organization as well as multiple outside IT service providers.

• • Provide help desk and technical services assistance to users in organisation and remotely working staff.

• • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for all areas of information technology to assure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance; assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• • Ensure security of information technology assets, data, network access, and backup systems (SAN, NAS, RAID) and supervise agreed audits to verify the security of internal and external systems.

• • Serve as the technical lead or project manager for system implementation projects.

• • Contribute to management of each engagement, including commercials and risks.

• • IT networks, storage, data centre, end points etc

• • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

• • Assuring all IT activities of IP telephony.

• • MAIL Domain (hosted & exchange) Management.

• • Windows server 2012 onwards & domain Management.

• • CCTV installation & maintenance and troubleshooting.

• • Hardware, printers, troubleshooting & software Management.

• • Disaster recovery management

• Required Skill Set:

•

• • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

• • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services.

• • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.

• • Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.

• • Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including Server, Office, and Exchange, AD, DNS etc.

• • Management and leadership skills.

• • Ability to work in global environments with teams spread globally

• • Ability to work & take decisions independently.

• • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• • Fluency in English
