Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of various IT hardware components and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of PC components, storage solutions, and a commitment to delivering exceptional technical support to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, configure, and install computer hardware systems and components, including motherboards, RAM, SSDs, HDDs, and other peripherals.

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and servers.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and upgrades on existing hardware infrastructure.

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding hardware-related inquiries and issues.

• Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of products.

• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in IT hardware technology and industry best practices.

• Assist in custom PC builds and provide expert advice on hardware compatibility and performance.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an IT Hardware Engineer or similar role, preferably within an IT distribution or sales environment.

• In-depth knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking concepts.

• Strong expertise in assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various PC components (processors, motherboards, RAM, storage devices, graphics cards).

• Familiarity with different types of storage solutions, including HDDs, SSDs, and external storage devices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are a plus.
