IT Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install new CCTV camera systems, including mounting cameras, running cables, configuring DVR/NVR units, and integrating with existing networks.

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on existing CCTV systems, identify and diagnose faults, and carry out timely repairs to ensure optimal system performance.

• Troubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV cameras, recording devices, networking, and software.

• Configuration & Programming: Configure and program CCTV systems, including camera settings, recording schedules, remote access, and motion detection.

• Cable Management: Install and manage network and power cabling neatly and efficiently.

• Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical concepts clearly, and provide user training on system operation.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during installations and maintenance.

• On-Call Support: May be required to provide on-call technical support outside of regular business hours.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new CCTV technologies and industry best practices.
