Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Manage a team of housekeeping supervisors, attendants, and custodial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and work schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; oversee procurement and proper usage.
Coordinate maintenance and repair needs with maintenance/engineering teams.
Manpower Deployment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Respond promptly to any client or guest complaints, service requests, and emergencies.
Monitor and manage departmental budgets, control costs, and optimize resource usage.
Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, inspections, and operational challenges.
Implement and oversee sustainability and waste management programs.
Train staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of equipment and products.
Requirements:
Proven experience (5+ years) in housekeeping management, preferably in a similar facility (hospitality, healthcare, corporate, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, chemicals, and cleaning equipment.
Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and facility management software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
