Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative with background of selling financial instruments and related products. This role is responsible for promoting and selling overdraft facilities to potential customers and handling customer issues and act as a key account manager for the customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth. The role will involve market visits and proactive lead sourcing to build and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote and sell overdraft facilities to customers, ensuring they fully understand the product and its benefits.
Assess customer needs and recommend the most appropriate overdraft solutions based on their financial circumstances.
Source new leads through market visits, networking, and research to expand the customer base and increase sales opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate information regarding overdraft terms, interest rates, and repayment conditions.
Collaborate with the lending and risk management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and approval processes for overdraft applications.
Stay up-to-date with financial market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes affecting overdraft facilities.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to overdraft facilities promptly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
In-depth knowledge of overdraft facilities and other banking products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to overdraft products.
Ability to assess and manage financial risk associated with overdraft applications
