Job Summary :
To sell surgical instruments, medical devices, medical consumables, hospital furniture and ancillary products to the target market of Corporate Hospitals, Trust Hospitals, and Medical College Hospitals in and around Mumbai. This role involves understanding customer needs, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive sales and achieve company targets.
Key Role & Responsibility:
Responsibilities:
1. Lead Conversion: Convert marketing leads into sales opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
3. Sales Execution: Follow sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
4. Payment Follow-up: Ensure timely collection of payments for all sales.
5. Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest products and industry trends to effectively communicate value to clients.
Tasks & Activities:
● Lead Conversion
○ Review and analyze leads provided by the marketing team.
○ Conduct initial outreach to leads via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
○ Qualify leads to determine their potential for conversion.
● Customer Relationship Management
○ Schedule and conduct regular meetings with current and potential clients.
○ Provide product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
○ Address client concerns and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
● Sales Execution
○ Participate in sales meetings to discuss strategies and progress.
○ Prepare sales pitches and presentations that align with company guidelines.
○ Close sales by negotiating terms and securing orders.
● Payment Follow-up
○ Send invoices and reminders for payment as per agreed terms.
○ Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment collection.
○ Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any payment-related issues.
○ Update the CRM system with payment status and any relevant notes.
● Product Knowledge
○ Attend training sessions and workshops to stay informed about new products.
○ Research industry trends and competitor offerings.
○ Share insights with the sales team to improve sales approaches.
Key Competencies :
● Graduate in any stream
● 2+ years experience in hospital sales
● Confident and persuasive in communication
● Excellent presentation skills
● Ability to negotiate effectively
● Self-starter and a target-oriented
● Ability to work with minimal instruction as well as collaboratively
● Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
● Honest and trustworthy reporting
● Desire to learn CRM tool for reporting
● Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi. Conversational in Marathi.
