Key Responsibilities - Gold Inspector GI

Gold and Cash Verification

Physically verify gold packets, vault cash, and foreign currency to ensure alignment with system records.

Assess the quantity, weight, quality, and purity of gold ornaments pledged during the current inspection period.

Document and Compliance Checks

Examine gold loan pledge and release documents, reporting any discrepancies.

Ensure that only solid ornaments are accepted for pledges, avoiding low purity or spurious items.

Monitoring and Reporting

Identify and report overdue gold loans, especially those re-pledged under higher rates.

Verify and seal auction-related packets, participating in gold auctions as instructed.

Training and Development

Special Assignments

Carry out special inspections in selected branches alongside internal auditors as directed by the Head Office Audit.

Verify bulk pledge packets and other specific assignments as instructed by management.
