Financial Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for gold loan disbursement and portfolio growth
Cross-sell financial products such as insurance and savings accounts
Monitor repayments and ensure timely collections to minimize delinquencies
Support branch profitability through quality sourcing and customer retention
Assist in cash handling and documentation during gold loan processing (if required)
Non-Financial Responsibilities:
Conduct field visits and community outreach to source new customers
Verify gold and KYC documents, process loan applications, and ensure accurate data entry
Provide clear communication on interest rates, terms, and repayment schedules
Maintain follow-ups for renewals, top-ups, and customer feedback
Ensure proper storage of pledged gold and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with valuation and back-office teams for seamless loan disbursal
Compliance & Risk Responsibilities:
Adhere to internal policies, RBI regulations, and gold loan procedures
Maintain confidentiality of customer data and follow gold handling protocols
Report suspicious transactions and ensure audit-ready documentation
Functional Competencies:
In-depth understanding of gold loan products and lending processes
Customer service and sales orientation
Knowledge of KYC, credit norms, and documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and banking software
Ability to manage fieldwork and customer visits
