Google Pay is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Field Sales Executive to join our Merchant Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding local merchants and SMEs to the GPay ecosystem, enabling them to accept digital payments and benefit from financial inclusion tools. You’ll play a vital role in driving the adoption of UPI and other GPay services in your assigned territory.
Conduct field visits to identify, approach, and onboard merchants (e.g., retail shops, restaurants, service providers).
Pitch the value proposition of GPay and guide merchants through the sign-up and KYC process.
Train merchants on using GPay for business, including QR code payments, cashback/rewards features, and the GPay for Business app.
Ensure proper display of QR codes and branding materials at merchant locations.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly onboarding and activation targets.
Build strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term engagement and usage.
Collect feedback from merchants and report product-related issues or suggestions.
Provide first-level support and liaise with backend teams to resolve any merchant concerns.
