Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager (Field Sales) to support our sales operations in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing field sales activities, developing customer relationships, and supporting the senior sales team in achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales Manager in planning and executing field sales strategies.

• Identify and visit potential and existing customers to promote and sell company products.

• Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and competitor activities.

• Achieve or exceed sales targets in assigned territories or regions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and end-users.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.

• Generate and analyze sales reports, and provide insights to improve performance.

• Assist in organizing and participating in trade shows, product demos, and marketing events.

• Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on field observations.

• Coordinate with internal departments like production, logistics, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.

• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B sales or industrial product sales.

• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics in a manufacturing setup.

• Local language proficiency is a plus.
