Job Description: Sales Officer – Beverage Division

We are seeking a motivated and field-oriented Sales Officer to manage distributor networks, appoint sales representatives, and drive market execution for our beverage products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring distributor and SR productivity, delivering primary and secondary targets, and managing sales collections (treasury) efficiently.
· - Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors and Sales Representatives (SRs) in assigned territories
· - Ensure compliance with distributor agreements and company SOPs
· - Manage day-to-day operations of assigned distributors, including stock planning and claim management
· - Ensure timely order booking, billing, and delivery
· - Monitor and support distributor ROI and working capital discipline
· - Monitor SR beat plans, productivity metrics, and call efficiency
· - Ensure regular market visits with SRs and support them to achieve daily targets
· - Train SRs on product knowledge, sales pitch, and in-store execution
· - Achieve monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets
· - Ensure regular updates of DSRs and secondary sales data
· - Provide market feedback and competitor intelligence to ASM/management
· - Monitor credit cycles, ensure timely collections, and maintain account hygiene
· - Coordinate with finance to ensure no outstanding or delay in treasury management
· - Experience: 3–6 years in FMCG/Beverage sales, with hands-on experience in distributor handling
· - Industry: Beverages (preferred), or other FMCG products
· - Geography: Familiarity with local area routes, market potential, and retail landscape
· - Skills: Field sales, distributor management, SR supervision, data reporting, and treasury discipline
· - Education: Graduate in any stream; Sales certifications or PGDM is a plus
