If visiting market –
Check the following for A.S.E/T.S.I/ S.R performance
o route coverage
o competitor activity
o servicing by distributor
o Market relationships etc.
· Evaluate sales team performance, analysing sales data, Monthly Sales planning and forecasting, actual vs achievement, on ground market coverage
· Training subordinates to develop requisite skills
o conducting trainings on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skills,
o Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales - business generation and achieving target figures on weekly basis
o Need to take closing stocks statement from T.S.I/A.S.E (Distributor wise)
If meeting distributor, channel partners or for new distributor opening -
· Ensure Healthy ROI generation for distributor (as per industry std)
· Ensure 100% coverage , Reach improvement, distributor appointments in white spaces, Resolve territory disputes, Resolve claims settlements
· Review past performances, update on pending issues (if any), Check health of distribution, stock maintenance capabilities, outlet servicing capabilities, market relationship, ROI etc
· Make plans to develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure comprehensive availability of company’s products and services across the region to achieve or exceed the sales targets
· Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the distributor and region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets
· Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region
· Develop the necessary Sales Management organization structure and ensure the right caliber of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements.
