We are looking for a Site/Field Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical work at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring work is done as per design, safety standards, and project timelines.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on site (e.g., wiring, panels, lighting, transformers, generators, etc.).
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
Ensure work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., IEC, NEC), and quality standards.
Prepare site progress reports, inspection logs, and as-built documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor and manage site inventory, materials, and tools.
Conduct or participate in site inspections and testing with consultants or clients.
Support the Project Manager in planning and tracking project schedules.
Train or guide junior technicians and subcontractors on site.
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
1–5 years of field/site experience in electrical works (construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and project tracking tools.
Willingness to travel and work on project sites (may involve long hours or shifts).
Experience in working with HT/LT systems, control panels, and automation (if applicable).
Familiarity with local electrical regulations and inspection processes.
Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
