Inspect, repair, and maintain all electrical systems and equipment including lighting, power distribution, generators, UPS, elevators, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, and guestroom electricals.
Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule and checklist.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
Install electrical fixtures, wiring, outlets, switches, and other components as needed.
Respond promptly to guest complaints or issues related to electrical problems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel SOPs during all tasks.
Maintain daily logs of work completed and materials used.
Coordinate with external vendors for major electrical works, when required.
Assist in energy-saving initiatives and suggest improvements in electrical efficiency.
Be available on call for emergencies during off-duty hours as per the duty roster.
Assist other departments (e.g., F&B, Housekeeping) with minor electrical tasks when requested.
Follow all company and department safety and security procedures.
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a certified Electrician Course.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or commercial building.
Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, safety codes, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Physical stamina to work in shifts, climb ladders, and work in confined areas.
Team player with good communication and time management skills.
Shift-based duty (including weekends and public holidays).
Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and electrical risks.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
