ITI Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• EOT Crane Electrical Systems

  • Knowledge of motor control circuits (AC/DC)

  • Brake systems, limit switches, contactors, relays

  • Power distribution and wiring

  • Overload protection systems

• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Skills

  • Reading and interpreting PLC logic diagrams and ladder logic

  • Programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)

  • Understanding I/O modules, sensors, and actuators

  • HMI interfacing and basic SCADA knowledge

• Electrical Troubleshooting

  • Fault-finding and root cause analysis

  • Use of tools like multimeters, megger testers, clamp meters

• Control Panel Wiring & Maintenance

  • Panel assembly, layout, and cable termination

  • Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)

  • Installation and configuration

  • Speed control of motors in cranes

• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

  • Scheduled checks for electrical systems

  • Immediate response to breakdowns
