Electrician

We're on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Interior Electrician to join our growing team. As an integral part of our crew, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components within a variety of indoor settings – be it homes, offices, or industrial units. You'll need to ensure all work strictly adheres to Indian electrical codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical equipment.

* Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently.

* Proficiently reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

* Connecting power to various electrical appliances, machinery, and systems.

* Ensuring all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) of India and other relevant local safety standards.

* Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.

* Collaborating effectively with other construction trades and site supervisors.

* Maintaining a tidy and secure work environment at all times.

* Keeping meticulous records of work undertaken and materials utilised.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as an Interior Electrician or in a similar electrical role.

* Possession of a valid Electrician's License/Wireman's Permit as per Indian regulations (highly preferred, please specify if mandatory).

* Sound knowledge of Indian electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices.

* Adept at using a variety of electrical tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices.

* Ability to accurately read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective team collaboration and client interaction.

* Ability to work independently as well as seamlessly within a team.

* Physical fitness: Capable of lifting heavy electrical equipment, climbing ladders, and working comfortably in confined or elevated spaces when required.

Education

* Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent.

* Completion of an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) course in Electrician trade or a recognised apprenticeship program, or equivalent practical experience.
