We are looking for an electrical Engineer to join our team Bhatia Alloy Forgings Pvt. Ltd.As an Electrical Engineer in the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Your primary goal will be to minimize downtime, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with other maintenance personnel and department managers to troubleshoot issues, implement preventive maintenance programs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, and control panels.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce the risk of equipment failure.
Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical maintenance and safety.
Assist in the design and installation of new electrical systems and equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and other staff members as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance strategies and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and maintenance management systems is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable but not required.
