Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy trucks (e.g., 18-wheeler, 24-wheeler, or articulated vehicles) to transport cargo safely and on time.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before and after trips; perform basic maintenance as required.

• Follow all applicable traffic laws, weight limits, and transportation regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel use, repairs, and deliveries using logbooks or electronic systems.

• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring goods are secured properly to prevent damage.

• Communicate with dispatchers and warehouse staff for efficient routing and delivery.

• Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to route schedules.

• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly to management.
