Job Description :A technical professional responsible for providing on-site testing, customer support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for various types of equipment, systems, or technology.
This role typically involves working in diverse settings, extensive travelling such as construction sites, industrial facilities, or remote locations, to ensure the proper functioning and performance of the equipment or systems. Coordination with other team mates, clients, and stakeholders to deliver technical expertise and excellent service.
Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning of equipment, visit construction sites to perform field testing. Perform onsite repair, preventive maintenance, calibration and validation as per schedule.
Maintain equipment history and customer records, prepare quotation for repair, amc or new purchase. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and clients, addressing their needs and concerns professionally.
Maintain detailed records of field service activities, including service reports, work orders, and equipment documentation Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications and Skills :Bachelor's degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electronics, mechanical, civil, or computer). Hands-on experience with relevant equipment, systems, or technology is advantageous.
Proficiency in using relevant software tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities and communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Time management skills to meet project deadlines and respond to urgent service requests.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors and in challenging field conditions.
Adaptability to work in varying environments and weather conditions. Flexibility to travel frequently and work in different locations. Professional appearance and demeanor.
