We are looking for a responsible and skilled Cook to manage daily food and beverage preparation for a co-working space in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate should maintain high standards of hygiene, prepare simple and healthy meals/snacks, and understand local taste preferences and ingredients to cater to a diverse group of professionals.
Prepare daily snacks, light meals, and beverages (e.g., tea, coffee, sandwiches, fruits, idli, upma, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized pantry/kitchen area
Ensure hygiene and food safety practices as per FSSAI standards
Manage pantry inventory and report low-stock items
Assist in setting up self-service food counters (if applicable)
Handle basic appliances (induction cooktop, tea/coffee machine, toaster)
Adapt to dietary requests (vegetarian, light/healthy options)
Serve food in a timely and courteous manner
Basic cooking skills with an emphasis on light, hygienic, and nutritious meals
Strong understanding of local taste preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cultural food habits in Odisha
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety protocols
Time management and the ability to multi-task during peak hours
Basic communication skills in Odia and/or Hindi
Inventory and kitchen management skills
Prior experience in office pantry, co-working kitchens, tiffin services, or small cafes
Familiarity with simple kitchen appliances
FSSAI food safety certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Honest, punctual, and dependable
Presentable and polite with team members and co-workers
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing menu/needs
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Optional full-day service if lunch preparation is added
