Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food as directed by the Chef de Partie.

• Follow standard recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas.

• Check and manage food stock levels, reporting shortages or spoilage.

• Follow all hygiene, health, and safety regulations in the kitchen.

• Set up kitchen workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.

• Support senior chefs with tasks and take initiative in learning new techniques.

• Label and date food items and ensure proper storage.

• Minimize waste and ensure proper use of raw materials.

• Perform other related duties as required by the kitchen leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic culinary education or training preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (depending on establishment).

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and take direction.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
