Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare a variety of high-quality dishes, including breakfast, snacks, and café specialties.

• Experiment with innovative recipes to align with customer preferences and café trends.

Food Quality and Presentation:

• Ensure dishes are prepared to meet the café’s standards of taste, quality, and presentation.

• Pay attention to portion sizes and aesthetics for customer satisfaction.

Kitchen Management:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.

• Minimize food wastage through effective planning and preparation.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the café staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff if needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a café or casual dining setup.

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

• Creativity in menu design and plating.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Certification in culinary arts or equivalent (preferred).
