As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for managing the restaurant's supply chain
operations. Your goal will be to maintain optimal inventory levels, build strong vendor
relationships, and ensure procurement aligns with the restaurant’s quality standards and
budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet daily operational needs.
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure timely procurement of food, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other
restaurant supplies.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to forecast procurement requirements.
Conduct regular market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate
new suppliers.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in procurement.
Track and report key performance metrics for procurement operations.
Resolve vendor issues and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related
field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality or
restaurant industry.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of inventory software and MS Excel.
Understanding of food and beverage quality standards.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
