Purchase Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

•Understand the Purchase Policies and SOP. Ensure adherence to the same from all stakeholders

•Send request for Quotations to the supplier, follow-up for the quotes, perform quotes comparison (does not include negotiations and vendor selection)

•Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) in SAP / GEP software.

•Convert the purchase requisition into Purchase order (PO)

•Monitor the performance of the RPA for automatic conversion of PR to PO

•Communicate Purchase Orders to vendor and end users.

•Get the confirmation of the Purchase Order wherever required.

•Collaborate with department heads and their representative from corporate office to ensure the proper approvals are taken before raising the PR and PO

•Maintain system hygiene to remove unwanted PRs and POs

•Adherence to the Service Level agreement (SLA) for timeliness and accuracy (99.5% of transactions within 1 working day with 99.65% of accuracy and no fatal errors)

•Coordinate with vendors for GST compliance , GSTR reconciliation.

•Follow-up with vendors to receive the invoices on timely basis.

•Manage the vendor helpdesk to resolve vendor queries related to payment, TDS deductions, GST holds, payment advice, Purchase orders etc

•Work with strategic purchase team and MDM team to get the vendors registered to GEP and onboard the same in SAP system

•Ensure to receive the justification from end users in case of post facto PO, single quote PO, Late invoice submissions, spend without provisions, budget etc

•Maintain monthly MIS related to Purchase Operations

1.Job title - Purchase Executive on payroll of Talisman

2.Location – Kurla. Work from Office

3.Qualification – Graduation in management, commerce, science with at least 60% and above throughout the academics. No education gap. Post graduation in business management would be added advantage, good in English communication, end user experience in SAP MM module for handling purchase transactions.

4.Skill sets - Assertive in communication, Ability to express the thoughts in written and verbal communication, ownership of the work, collaboration skills, able to handle the work in pressure situation

5.Contract period is auto-renewed every year – Yes. Auto renewed every year provided the performance of the candidate is up to the mark.

6.Min exp require – 2 to 4 years of experience in Procurement operations in SAP environment.

7.Job shift timing – General Shift (8 am to 5 pm)

8.Workdays – 5 days a week but may need some remote support in extreme urgencies during weekends / month ends

Contract period, auto-renewable or not: 1 year. Can be renewed with evaluation.
