Purchase Executive

Location: Sector 30, Gurgaon

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Procurement Head 
Salary: 25,000 to 30,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive who has in depth knowledge to manage procurement activities efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience in Pharma industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, be adept in vendor management, and possess strong proficiency in MS Office tools. This role involves coordinating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely procurement of materials/services at the best possible prices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions with vendors to ensure optimal purchasing.

• Issue purchase orders and track delivery timelines to ensure on-time supply.

• Maintain and update supplier records and procurement documentation.

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material/service requirements.

• Analyse price trends and assess supplier performance regularly.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

• Generate reports and maintain data using MS Excel and other MS Office tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

      (1) Experience in Pharma Industry is Mandatory.

      (2) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

(3) 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles (preferred).

      (4) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

(5) Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

(6) Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Word, and Gmail writings.

(7) Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
