Data Entry Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to input and manage information in our databases and computer systems. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for accuracy. Responsibilities include entering customer and account data from source documents, verifying data accuracy, and maintaining data confidentiality. Basic computer knowledge, familiarity with spreadsheets, and strong organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter data into databases and systems accurately and efficiently

• Review data for errors or discrepancies and correct them

• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality

• Prepare and sort documents for data entry

• Generate reports and perform regular backups

• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software
