We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Document Verification Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and authenticating documents to ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Review and verify various types of documents such as identity proofs, academic certificates, financial statements, employment records, and legal papers
Ensure submitted documents meet the required standards and comply with internal and external regulations
Cross-check details with databases, official sources, or third-party verification tools
Identify and report discrepancies, fraudulent documents, or suspicious information
Maintain accurate and organized records of verified documents
Update and manage document verification logs and reports
Communicate with clients, applicants, or institutions to request missing or additional documentation
Work closely with compliance, HR, legal, or operations teams to support verification processes
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in document verification, compliance, administration, or a similar role is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Good knowledge of document types and verification methods
Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Organized and able to work independently or in a team environment
Full-time/Part-time position
Office-based or remote, depending on company policy
