We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to input, update, and maintain accurate data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate should have strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and systems
Review data for errors and correct any inconsistencies or inaccuracies
Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
Retrieve and organize files and documents as needed
Perform regular data backups to ensure security and recovery
Generate reports and summaries based on entered data
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist with other administrative or clerical tasks as required
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
Fast and accurate typing skills (40–60 WPM preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
Familiarity with office equipment (scanners, printers) and data entry software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full-time or part-time
Office-based, remote, or hybrid depending on company policy
Standard office hours; occasional overtime may be required
