Data Entry Executive

Job Summary:

We are hiring a detail-oriented Lab Data Entry Operator responsible for accurately entering patient information, test orders, and laboratory results into the system. The role requires speed, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive medical data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient registration details, sample information, and test requests into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

• Upload and verify test results after validation by lab technicians/pathologists.

• Check for data errors, mismatches, or missing information and coordinate corrections.

• Maintain and update internal databases regularly.

• Ensure proper documentation of all lab reports and maintain organized digital records.

• Generate and print reports for patients and consultants as needed.

• Coordinate with lab technicians, phlebotomists, and customer service teams for smooth workflow.

• Follow data confidentiality, patient privacy, and quality control protocols.

• Support the lab team during audits and inspections by providing accurate data.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 12th pass or Graduate in any discipline (Science background preferred).

• 0–2 years of experience in data entry or back-office roles (preferably in healthcare or diagnostics).

• Good typing speed (minimum 30–40 words per minute) with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer operations.

• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or hospital software (preferred).

• Attention to detail, good concentration skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
