Job Summary: As a Booking Agent at our travel agency, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation services for our clients, ensuring seamless and efficient ground transportation for their travel needs. Your primary role will involve booking cabs, monitoring transportation schedules, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall travel experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Interact with clients to understand their transportation requirements and preferences.
Provide accurate information regarding cab availability, pricing, and transportation options.
Assist clients in making informed decisions about their ground transportation.
2. Booking and Coordination: Receive and process cab booking requests through various channels (phone, email, online platforms).
Coordinate with local transportation providers to secure timely and reliable cab services for clients. Ensure accuracy in booking details, including pick-up and drop-off locations, timings, and any special requests.
3. Schedule Monitoring: Monitor transportation schedules to ensure punctuality and reliability of cab services.
Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation, such as delays or changes in plans.
4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cab bookings, client preferences, and transportation schedules.
Generate and provide clients with booking confirmations and receipts through email or WhatsApp.
5. Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or concerns related to transportation services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with transportation providers to resolve any issues and improve service quality.
6. Stay Informed: Stay updated on local traffic conditions, events, and other factors that may impact transportation services. Continuously update knowledge of available transportation options and providers.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other travel agency departments to ensure a seamless integration of ground transportation with overall travel plans. Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive travel solutions to clients.
8. Adherence to Policies and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and company policies.
Provide guidance to clients on relevant rules and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a customer service or travel-related role (3-5 years).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with transportation systems and local geography.
Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Proficient in using computer systems and booking software.
Effectively communicate in English and Kannada.
Candidates staying within the radius of 5-7KMS from our office shall be given preference.
