Back Office Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Underwriting Analyst to assess applicant profiles, verify documents, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory underwriting standards. The role requires strong communication, document analysis, and risk assessment skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive review of applicant profiles, including credit, income, assets, employment, and medical health status

• Validate information using internal tools and external databases to prevent fraud

• Analyze and verify income support and other customer documents

• Stay updated on underwriting, regulatory, and reinsurance guidelines

• Document all underwriting decisions in accordance with company standards

• Communicate risks or concerns clearly to mentors/supervisors

• Ensure proper usage of income/asset calculators and other underwriting tools

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism

• Summarize and communicate underwriting conditions and decisions clearly in writing

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Science or Commerce (Full-Time)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to analyze multiple documents and summarize effectively

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional

• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Excellent keyboard and documentation skills
