Mechanical draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and systems based on specifications and project requirements.

• Prepare 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).

• Perform engineering calculations for stress analysis, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.

• Develop and test prototypes, analyze performance, and refine designs.

• Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

• Oversee manufacturing processes and coordinate with production teams.

• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

• Prepare reports, documentation, and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.

• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
