Civil draughtsman

About the Role:

We are hiring a skilled Civil Draughtsman with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience for ongoing industrial and housing projects in and around Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of AutoCAD, technical drawing, and structural detailing for both 2D and 3D plans. This role demands a sharp eye for detail and a practical understanding of on-site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings using AutoCAD and CAD tools.

• Draft construction drawings for housing and commercial/industrial projects.

• Create layout plans, sections, and elevations for civil structures.

• Modify and update designs based on engineer/architect inputs.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate implementation.

• Maintain drawing documentation and version control.

• Support the design and documentation of project proposals.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, and drafting tools.

• Strong ability in 2D detailing and basic 3D visualization.

• Experience in structural drawing, designing layouts, and working drawings.

• Sound knowledge of residential, industrial, and commercial structures.

• Understanding of civil construction standards and site implementation basics.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Civil Draughtsman.

• Residing within 50 km radius of Ahmedabad (commuting must be feasible).

• Educational qualification: ITI Draftsman (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
